1. Come over and walk the
dogs.
Could use folks that are willing
to commit to one day a week or month to walk the dogs. All dogs need to
keep their basic obedience lessons current.
2. Can you train or work with
dogs that have no manners?
I can use help for a dog knowledgeable
person to help with the training, leash walking, basic obedience for the
larger dogs entering my rescue group.
3. Like to drive?
Can use volunteers that are
willing to help the dogs adopted out of this area get to their new homes.
So far dogs have been driven to Missoula, Babb, St. Regis, Plains and Fernie,
BC on their way to Helena, Vancouver, WA, Calgary, Alberta Canada etc.
4. Have temporary spare room
for a dog?
Need temporary foster care for
dogs. It can range from one day/night to three weeks while altering and
transportation arrangements are made or for dogs passing through our area
on their way to new homes.
5. Want to be a foster home?
There is always a need for homes
willing to take on the care, training and feeding of dogs in rescue while
they await their new homes. This commitment can range from a couple of
weeks to several months.
6. Do you mind "yard cleanup"?
There is always a need for extra
hands doing "yard duty".
7. Don't have time but still
want to help?
We can always use collars, leashes,
treats, blankets, crates, brushes etc. Any and all donations gladly accepted.
