The circumstances is that he was being transported from Casper, WY to Seeley Lake, MT when the folks taking him home stopped for a potty break in Three Forks at 11pm Saturday, June 23. We are still not sure of the details, but when they went to load the dogs back into the dog truck, Chase was startled and bit the handler. In the chaos of the situation Chase got away. The folks looked for him until 4 am and finally had to head the rest of the dogs back home. This dog has never bitten before and is very active with our family, so it was likely an isolated case, but we would rather have some type of animal control catch him if possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated. He was last seen on Highway 287 just out of Three Forks heading in the direction of Helena. Please contact us if you have any information. |

On September 16, 2005, our 9 year old female Bouvier de Flanders, Bolshia, was stolen from our place in North Western Montana, and I am fairly certain she was taken from the immediate area, as she is a unique pet, and this breed is very scarce around here, and would be easily noticed. She weighs just over 110 lb., is black with a small white patch on her chest, has cropped ears and a docked tail. She had sprained her left front paw, and just the day before our vet had shaved both her lower front legs to x-ray and check out, so she was in considerable pain and limping noticeably, therefore I have a feeling whomever stole her would be in touch with a vet shortly there after. We are offering a reward to anyone that may be able to help us locate our friend, and I would be able to identify her further if it is necessary. I would greatly appreciate any possible information that may lead us to the return of our friend. If there is an opportunity to communicate with any person or entity in the area, that may have any links to this sort of situation, we would be forever grateful. |
